What is DONL?

The DONL is a non-profit organization consisting of nurse leaders, executives, administrators and managers, educators, and
researchers across the State of Delaware. The organization addresses the nursing workforce, administration, education, research,
health policy, and professional practice issues.
Mission:
The mission of the DONL is to provide direction and leadership for the
advancement of nursing practice and excellent patient care in organized
healthcare systems.
Vision:
The vision of the DONL is to shape the future of health and nursing care
through innovative leadership.
We serve our membership by:
  • Providing vision and actions for nursing leadership to meet the health
    care needs of society.
  • Influencing legislation and public policy related to nursing and patient
    care issues.
  • Offering member services that support and enhance the management,
    leadership, educational, and professional development of nursing
    leaders.
  • Facilitating and supporting research and development efforts that
    advance nursing administration practice and quality patient care.
